Josh's mom grew up here in So Cal. She remembers going to Farrell's Ice cream as a kid. One just opened in Rancho Cucamonga so she drove all the way from utah to go with us. We were going to a combined birthday party for some friends from Josh's school so we were able to get reservations for that night (luckily because for weekends they were booked out 2 months and you had to wait 1-4 hours in line for a table. Someone reserved 50 but only had 30 so we got to take part of theres). We got the Zoo which is $50. we shared with 8 people and still couldn't finish it. It was so yummy though! They made these incredible balloon costumes for the birthday boys. It was such a fun experience and we were glad to have stephanie come visit.

Josh has an off site clinic in Bishop, Ca that he works at 2 days a month. H goes up friday night and works saturday and monday then comes home monday afterwards. They have stayed in a cabin before and so I went with him cuz he said it was so fun. Well... the whole thing fell apart and we ended up sharing a hotel room with a guy from josh's class. Also, this was our 5th anniversary. Super romantic!! I worked in the clinic with them half day both days. We drove to mammoth sunday to go for a hike around the lake. it was a little crazy but still fun. At least we got to be together.

I went to mammoth with them the next month also when they did get a cabin. It was way more fun then. I got my very first coach bag, and I love it. we went to some natural hot springs which was super fun! I had to go back with the Dr. and her boyfriend and their staff so I could work monday. there was some pretty crazy drama going on and it made for an interesting trip. We stopped at a japanese containment camp museum. It was pretty sad. The poor lady that we were with just found out she had breast cancer and was a little unstable. she made her husband take all their stuff out of the car and she was going to wait there at the museum for her daughter. The boyfriend (this lady's boss and friend) convinced them to stay until we got to a town. We dropped her off just before the I-15 and she apologized for ruining our trip. Super sweet lady . It was so devastating to see her go through such a heart breaking experience. I pray that she will respond well to the treatment and pull through.

Visitors

Our friends Landon and Ashley from SUU now live in vegas. They watched GV for us over christmas and we've been trying to get them to come see us for a while now. Landon was in nursing school and was working on his boards but wanted to wait until he passed to come. He finally passed and was finished with everything so they brought their little Burkon to Disneyland for the first time. He had a blast!! He loved mickey mouse and told us he was going to ask him if he could borrow his club house. He has the sweetest little voice. he and GV had lots of fun playing and GV loved chasing their Chug, Tough, around the house all day. I got to go to the beach with them also and it was a blast having them here. We love having visitors!! Come back soon guys :)

Rose Parade.

4 planes were writing this together in the sky. it was ridiculous!! how do they know??

Our old friends from SUU came from Puerto Rico all the way to Pasadena, CA for the Rose parade... Actually they were in utah for christmas with their familes and went to CA for disneyland. Jake's dad works for a company whose office is right on the path of the parade. Since we live so close they offered to let us come down and see it with them. We haven't seen them in a few years since Josh and Jake both started dental school. It was so fun to spend time with them again. It was like we had never been apart. Thats how you know you have good friends. Little Carson was just born the last time we saw them and now he's 3 and a big brother!! the all looked great and we had a blast. Hopefully we will make it to see them before they leave PR.

I thought I had pictures of us with them but can't find them :(

Our Supper Club!

Christmas was a lot of fun. We met my family in Vegas and went shopping and hung out. Our good friends , the Beus Family watched GV for us while we were there. My cousin Dan Pelly was doing a show in Vegas so most of his family came up for the show and stayed in the condos with us. We were even able to see Rob, Laura, Dannielle, Nicole, and Zach from Oregon. I haven’t seen them since I was 14!! Josh left early to take the dog off our friends hands so they could go see family and he went to spend one on one time with his parents. The concert was kinda crazy in an empty abandoned warehouse in the art district in down town vegas (aka the ghetto). There weren’t many people there but it was still fun. We tried to go to the stratosphere afterwards but the rides were closed due to high winds. We went out to eat at 2am and just laughed a lot. We went on the New York New York roller coaster the next day and played in the arcade for a while. Then Zach and Dan went on a road trip to Reno and we went shopping and out to eat at our favorite Italian restaurant. It was a tearful goodbye but we made some wonderful memories.

Josh got a new gun for Christmas and got a bunch of camo and some coyote calls. He went hunting with his best bud Chase and they had some good bonding time. We got to have an ugly Christmas sweater party with some friends and also had lots of get togethers. It is always so great to be home with all of our family during the holidays. The day after Christmas we went to Heber for an Espinoza family party. We ate fantastic Mexican food and played stupid but hilarious games and had a great time.
